Friends of Mongolia 20th Anniversary Gala Recap

Washington D.C. - Over 80 people gathered at the DACOR Bacon House on June 20, 2019 to celebrate Friends of Mongolia's 20th Anniversary.

Both old and new faces attended the event including several Returned Peace Corps Volunteers from Mongolia as well as Lantuun Dohio USA, a Mongolian philanthropic group.

The Girvin Family, a major FOM donor, conferenced in via Skype to share about the Matthew Girvin Scholarship Fund which was set up in honor of their late son. The scholarship provides tuition assistance for exceptional Mongolian students in pursuit of higher education.

The gala also included a silent auction, short presentation, and a recognition ceremony to the founders of FOM and key stakeholders of the organization.
