Naadam is in the air!

In July, Mongolians all over the world prepare for one of the biggest holidays on the Mongolian calendar: Naadam. Traditionally known as the "three games of men," this festival is comprised of horse racing, archery, and Mongolian wrestling. Women have begun to join in on the horse racing and archery events, but not yet in wrestling.

Several Mongolian community groups in the U.S. organize Naadam fesitivals. Check out below to see if there is one coming up near you!
